Introduction
The Retention is a multi-use all year round garden tool for separating and dividing outdoor household needs. Initially invented to retain leaves for the Fall Season from blowing away to either be placed into bags or picked up by garbage men, it can also be used for organizing plants from being eaten by animals or even a fence for construction zoning to protect people from entering harmful areas.
The benefits are endless for owning a Retention Kit. It is a green product and environmentally friendly, it is easy to use and store, and you can use it all year round.
All The Parts
In the Retention Kit, you get the following:
- A bag the holds all the parts
- The Retention Fence
- Three Plastic Stalks to hold up the fence
- A mallet to hammer the stalks into the grass
Please keep in mind that the Retention Kit only works on soil and surfaces like that soil. It does not work on hard flooring like concrete or wood.
The total weight of the bag is 8 lbs. The size of the Kit is 3 feet high x 9 feet wide sections with 2 sections per kit.
The fence is high-density polyethylene with UV additives to reflect light in the dark.
Unfold
The first thing you do it pull all the materials out the bag and lay them out.
Either with a friend or by yourself, lay the fence on the ground and start to unfold it. In some cases the stalks will already be attached. If the stalks are not in the holes of the fence. Lay down the fence and insert the stalks in the holes. There are three of them. Two on both ends and one in the middle.
Once it is all laid out, either with a friend or by yourself, insert the middle stalk into the ground centered on where you want it on your yard. Using the mallet, hammer the stalk into the ground. It is capable of going 6 inches deep in dirt.
Once the centered stalk is stable, stretch the rest of the fence out and hammer in the outside stalks with the hammer. Again, you can use help with a friend or by yourself. Use it is secure on the ground it can sustain winds up to 40 MPH.
